To get selected for AFCAT your age must be between 20 years to 26 years.
Educational Qualification for AFCAT Ground Duty Branches:
For AFCAT Recruitment, Educational Qualification is different for each category.(i) Administration & Logistics:
To Join this section of IAF required a Graduate Degree in a Minimum three-year degree course in any discipline from a recognized university. You should have passed with 60% marks or equivalent.
or you should have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent
(ii) Accounts:
As educational qualification for Accounts section, a B. Com. Degree in Minimum three-year degree course from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent is needed.
(iii) Education:
For joining of Education Section of the Ground Duty Branch, you should have an MBA / MCA or MA / M Sc degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. All paper put together in Post Graduation (Minimum two-year program) and 60% marks in graduation (both recognized by UGC / Competent Accreditation Authority) in the following subjects -- English

Note :
Candidates appearing in final year/semester examinations may apply for all courses commencing in January 2022 provided they fulfill the following conditions:-
- Candidates should not have any present backlog and should have secured a minimum of 60% marks up to the last semester/year for which results have been declared at the time of online submission and at the time of SSB.
- Candidates should be able to provide provisional/original degree certificates issued by University.
Physical Standards:
Height and Weight: Minimum height: - Men - 157.5 Cms, Women:- 152 Cms with correlated weight.
Other Medical Criteria:
All other medical criteria would be evaluated by the Air Force Medical Authorities whose decision on the fitness would be final.
